  2. Dear Sir/Madam

    Greetings from Macau in China!

I would like to take the liberty to introduce myself to you. I am a lawyer with 25 years of professional experience and currently practicing in Macau, China, and, in the seventies, I put into publication several pieces of my analyses on philosophical and religious concepts subtending traditional law and Justice among the Bantu people of Angola in «Muntu», a scientific and cultural magazine of CICIBA (The International Center of Bantu Civilizations), in Libreville.

My purpose in writing you is regarded to an article which was written by yourself in the 80′s entitled “This was Ngola: This is Africa” ( Isto foi o Ngola: Isto é a Africa) The article was published in Portuguese language in Sao Paulo, Brazil. And the contents referred to the work of a photographer in Angola, Mr Jose Redinha ( my father) who was a former Portuguese anthropologist and researcher who lived for more than fifty years in Angola (1926-1983).

It would be a great pleasure if Professor Preston could contact me directly at my e mail:pedroredinha@gmail.com. and it will be an honour to meet you personally in the near future to discuss with you about the work of my father.

    Respectfully Yours

    Pedro Redinha

    • Hello Pedro,
My name is Tanya. I came across this article while doing some research on Jose Redinha, my grandfather.

My father Jose Mutatay wa Tshilanda born in 1942 in Congo (name at birth Jose Redinha) is the son of Jose Redinha and Esther Tshilanda. Since my father did not grow up with his father, I don’t know much about my grandfather; but for the past few years I started doing some research, collecting pieces of information here and there on the internet hoping to trace a family member and learn about his history as I know the history of my other grandparents.

I undertake this process alone for now, because my father was always very discreet and even distant when it comes to talk about his father.
I hope with all my heart to have fallen on the right track.

      Here are my coordinates: tmutatay@hotmail.com

      Thank you!

  4. I must express some thanks to the writer just for rescuing me from this particular predicament. After looking throughout the the web and meeting concepts which were not helpful, I thought my life was done. Existing without the approaches to the difficulties you’ve solved by means of your main article is a crucial case, as well as the ones that could have adversely affected my entire career if I had not come across the website. Your own ability and kindness in dealing with all areas was helpful. I’m not sure what I would’ve done if I hadn’t come across such a point like this. It’s possible to at this point relish my future. Thanks for your time so much for the high quality and amazing help. I will not think twice to recommend your site to any individual who requires tips on this issue.
